Blogging is great in the classroom because it allows those students who don't like to talk in class a way to express themselves. It is a great way for students to ask questions of the teacher without everyone else in class knowing. For the students who are outgoing and like to write, it gives them a new avenue to connect with other students and their teachers. Blogging could be a great resource for counselors as well. It would give the students a safe place to express their feelings with the counselor. A blog could be a great place for students to let the public (and their parents) know what is happening in the classroom. It could be a great source of information sharing as well.
